Our Meetings

The bi-weekly meetings are where you’ll have the chance to put what you learned on Pathways to work. Each meeting starts with the introduction of functionary roles.

Then we move on to Table Topics where a Table Topics Master asks prepared questions (which usually match the Toastmaster’s theme of the evening) to members. Members don’t know who the TTM will call on ahead of time. This is a chance to improve impromptu speaking.

Next is the prepared speeches where speakers give a speech from their Pathways assignments. They will be assigned an evaluator who will later give an evaluation on their speech during the evaluation portion of the meeting.

The evaluation portion of the meeting consists of a General Evaluator who organizes and introduces the speech evaluators and evaluates the meeting to show us where we can improve. The evaluators give a two to three-minute evaluation of the evening’s speeches.
