Bayview Toastmasters

Bayview Toastmasters in Monterey, CA, has members from all walks of life, ages and professions. From college students to bilingual professors to engineers, nurses and retired persons. Members appreciate each other’s uniqueness and value others as part of an unstoppable team.

While we have contest-winning speakers and Distinguished Toastmasters (a DTM is the highest level awarded in Toastmasters), every member started where you are today. Experienced members love sharing tips through feedback, evaluations and mentoring programs.

Wait! Did we say public speaking is fun? Absolutely! Bayview Toastmasters cultivates a fun atmosphere to make learning easy and relaxing. The group loves to laugh and there is a lot of good-natured banter, joking and humor. This does not mean that our goal is to make stand-up comedians out of our members or that we don’t take goals seriously. Making learning fun helps take the pressure off of people so they feel supported while learning new things.
